Position: MS Power Apps Developer

Contract Duration: Long term contract; part time (10 to 40 hours a month)

Work Location: 100% remote; resource must live within the United States

Client: Maryland Department of Commerce

Duties: The Developer will be assigned to assist the clients’ developers convert existing apps SharePoint, static Web pages, and .NET to PowerApps (low-code/no-code).

Technical Requirements:

• Microsoft Power Apps development/build, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred experience with Power Platform CoE
• Preferred experience was a Microsoft Power Platform Administrator
• Good experience in the development of business process and approval flows
• Good experience working on relational databases such as:  Azure SQL, as well as Azure Data Lake, Azure File System with Power Apps
• Good experience in integration with multiple sources such as OData service, Azure SQL DB and Common Data Services using flow/logic apps
• Demonstrable experience in embedding Power Apps in SharePoint and custom applications
• Good experience of Power Apps security capabilities, including role-based authorization
• Good experience in SharePoint Online and SharePoint designer workflow
• Experience in C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST and OData
• Experience in developing web applications using Angular
• Ability to understand complex systems and think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges
• Be a team player and passionate about championing the team to continuously refactor and improve to deliver a quality software product

General Experience: Seven (7) years of experience as a MS Power Apps Developer.

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or technical discipline.
